Easy Read Online staff member becomes advisor to UKAAF
Tom, our Senior Technical Writer, has joined the UK Association of Accessible Formats (UKAAF) as the new Subject Lead for Easy Read.
In this role, he will represent UKAAF on all matters relating to Easy Read, including supporting members, sharing expertise, and contributing to conferences and events.
We’re really proud of this appointment. It reflects not only Easy Read Online’s reputation among creators of accessible information, but also the depth of knowledge and experience within our team.

Dealing with stress
Did you know that April was Stress Awareness Month?
We at Easy Read Online understand that everyone can feel stressed at some point in their lives. So we have created an Easy Read document all about stress and how to deal with it!
We hope this document gives you some helpful information, and you can share it with anyone you feel might need it.

Spotlight project - Easy Read elections information in Surrey
Surrey County Council have just shared their Easy Read booklet that explains how local government in Surrey is changing, including the move to two new councils (East Surrey and West Surrey) and what this means for residents.
We were very pleased to work with Surrey on producing this Easy Read.
The booklet uses simple words and pictures, making the information more accessible for everyone. It also explains how and when to vote in the upcoming local elections.
