Easy Video Information
If you can't read and write - even easy read
documents are too hard. But video is a great medium for people with
learning disability...
- You can involve people with learning
disabilities in creating the videos,
- You can include motion graphics,
cartoons and sounds in re-enforce the messages,
- You can present the video in a
variety of formats, as DVDs, online or on Film.
We have developed new ways to involve
people with learning disabilities in presenting information on
video.
Coming from our background in Self Advocacy we are very keen that
people with learning disabilities are fully involved in presenting
information about their work.
By using a green screen, motion graphics and careful editing we
have enabled people to present information in a clear and entertaining way.

educational material for the Houses of Parliament
Outreach Service. We made a DVD, a Power Point Presentation,
Some Educational Exercises and an Easy Read handout for follow-up
work.
The package is being launched at a half day conference during Parliament Week on
Tuesday 1st November 2011 at the Manchester
