Promote The Vote
We have been working with the Promote the Vote Team from
Speaking Up in Cambridge to build a website which helps people with
learning difficulties to understand all about how to vote in UK
elections. The site supports the many workshops provided by the
team.
The site was awarded the ACCESS-IT 2009 Good Practice Award.
The team were fully involved in building the site and provide
all the information on over 80 different video clips, including
interviewing several politicians. Click here to

This site is an excellent example of how information can be
provided to people with learning difficulties in an engaging
way that doesn't require a carer or support worker to read it
out.
